The Alps is not all about high, snowy peaks, it also hosts world class rock climbing. There is a wealth of rock climbing spread throughout the Alps that provides something for everyone. From the granite walls of Chamonix, to the granite ridges of Andermatt to the limestone walls of Switzerland and the Dolomites there is a huge variety of rock climbing set in stunning locations.

You may prefer high altitude rock climbing such as the Rebuffat route on Aiguille du Midi or spending a number of nights at the great Salbit hut and exploring the granite ridges and walls of the Salbitschjen.
