The UK and Ireland host a huge choice of world class climbing venues. Traditional rock climbing in Ireland is where it all started for me and remains my passion. I have climbed all over the UK and Ireland indulging in the best that these islands have to offer. The adventures and experiences you can have here are truly world class. From the sea cliffs of Gogarth, to the Scottish mountain crags or the splendid cracks and walls of Fairhead there is more than a lifetime of exploration to be had. The mountains of Snowdonia also provide the perfect terrain for alpine preparation if you have a trip to the Alps coming up.

Guided Rock Climbing into the Extremes

If you tie in with me I can take you on an exploration of well known, and less well known,  rock routes all around the UK and Ireland. The Classic, Hard and Extreme Rock books can provide plenty of inspiration if you were to need any!

Alpine Preparation

Snowdonia provides an ideal location to prepare for an upcoming trip to the Alps. Time spent training for a Matterhorn or Mt Blanc ascent will pay dividends in the Alps. There are many options to link up scrambles and easy climbs to give long days of continual movement and brush up on technical skills.

Personal Climbing Skills

A variety of skills can be covered on the crags of Snowdonia to consolidate and improve your personal trad or sport climbing. You may want to develop and consolidate your lead climbing, become more efficient when multi pitching or learn the self rescue skills to give you the confidence to go onto more adventurous sea cliffs or remote mountain crags. Whatever it may be, I will be able to draw on my wealth of climbing experience to help you along the way.

Scrambling Guiding and Instruction

Scrambling takes you off the beaten track and on to the steeper buttresses and ridges that abound in Snowdonia, the Lake District and Scotland. You may prefer to guided on the classic routes and take in the views or learn the ropework and route finding skills for yourself. Whatever your aim I will be able to make that happen for you.

Cuillin Ridge, Skye

The Cuillin Ridge is a majestic ridgeline that gives the UK it's only route of Alpine proportions. The traverse of which will be a long lasting memory for any who complete it.
